I'm a sucker for the Lockup shows on MSNBC. Also Jail and Cops. I can't explain it, maybe it's just a fascination with people entering utter survival mode while behind bars.

I cried when Old Yeller died. I can probably be forgiven though, as I was only 5 years old at the time when Dad took the family to the Drive-In. But I did get a big laugh when Bill Murray, in the movie Stripes, asked his fellow soldiers if they cried.

Well, speaking of ABBA, I got goosebumps and teared up one time when the song was played at the opening of a Dodger's telecast in '81 during Fernando-mania, while he was taking the mound.

I am a big audiophile, so this is both embarassing and confusing to me:

I don't get what the big deal is about Radiohead. Nor do I think Yankee Hotel Foxtrot is even listenable even though I like other Wilco stuff. Do I just not get it?

Take heart. Wilco is one of my favorite bands, and while I find YHF pretty good, I think it's definitely overrated.
