It's been a year since the tragedy at Virginia Tech, and I still can't believe what took place that day. Being from Roanoke, Virginia, I feel like I have a strong connection to that university and have spent a great deal of time there. I love to pull against them in all sports, but I continue to pull for them to bond together after this horrific event. I'll never forget watching my some of my closest friends give accounts to national news stations about how close they were to the shooting and how grateful they were to be alive. I was proud to say that I knew those people who stood together and united and decided that they would not be intimidated or scared. So today, and for the coming days, we shoud remember Virginia Tech.


Please don't turn this into some sort of PPB thread. It's not about that.
