The Poop Sheet recently published EPI (Efficient Production Index) rankings for the past year in the ACC. The EPI is an interesting statistic because it awards points for postive acts on the court and takes away for negative acts on the court, while factoring in minutes played. Sean May had the highest EPI number in the 13 years the statistic has been kept, with a 1.43. Hansborough finshed 1st this year with a 1.352.

Duke's highest player this year was Nelson with a 1.017 that ranked as the 9th highest in the ACC. Singler (15th), Scheyer (17th), Paulus (20th), and Henderson (28th) were all next with scores lower than 1. Smith was the only other Devil to finish in the top 50 with a 0.79 (40th).

Duke had 4 players move up at least 16 spots from the previous year, the most of any team. Paulus jumped up 24 spots, Scheyer 23 spots, Nelson 17 places, and Henderson moved up 16 spots.

While I wouldn't expect those guys to increase their EPI numbers as much as they did last year, I think they will continue to move up the list. 4 players have graduated (including Nelson) from the top 10. Singler should easily crack the top 10 as his shooting percentages increase. Henderson should be able to move up double digit spots to around number 10-15. Scheyer and Paulus also should move up a handful of spots, in the ball park of the top 10-15. That would be 4 Devils within the top 15 of the EPI, something that UNC did this past year.
