I was poking on the internet early this morning, before I woke up. I saw a link or reference to an article on Duke/UNC, and that the balance of power had tipped to UNC - they were recruiting better, etc.
I don't know if I saw it here, on ESPN, etc. - anyone seen this article who can provide a link?
Thanks!
Was it this one?

As a side note - this one on UCON(N) was interesting...

"We feel that life doesn't begin and end on the court," Calhoun said. "It's how we show ourselves as a basketball program. Academics are very important here, and we've had some disappointments. Social behavior is very important here."
Really, Jimmy? Since when? The word here?
I think it has more than tipped. Clearly UNC-CH's program is now superior to ours. And the reason is Roy Williams is recruiting very very well.
I know a coach at Deon Thompson's high school. He said Roy just outrecruited everyone for him. He was there early and strong. Now he has the twins coming from Huntington Beach. All 3 of these players were wanted by many schools, including UCLA which is much closer geographically, but Roy got them.
In the perspective of things our 2007-2008 season was very good and many many schools would trade their season for ours. But we don't compare ourselves against Syracuse, UConn et al, but we do compare ourselves against UNC-CH. And they are ahead.
