    John Adams

Are you watching John Adams on HBO? It's a miniseries and I've been DVRing it. I watched the first two episodes last night and it is quite good. Not only is there excellent acting (Paul Giamatti is excellent as Adams) but it does the period (pre-revolutionary war to the first 50 years of U.S) quite well. For example, last night Abigail Adams vacinated her kids with "bloody pox" and it was quite dramatic.

Anyway, on IMDB it gets 9.9/10 stars.

I did the same last night. Very well done, IMO.

Yep, the wife and I have watched the first 2 parts and will probably watch the 3rd tonight. Really enjoying it.

    That pox scene was _gnarly_.

I also enjoyed the first 2 episodes. It was interesting to see these reluctant revolutionaries in action. And it is nice to learn more about Adams who is often overshadowed by Washington and Jefferson.
