    Vote for Duke football recruit

Erich Schneider will be playing for Duke next year. Please vote for him for the Jacksonville "Play of the Year." Right now he's trailing in the votes. Vote numerous times without penalty!

He makes a beautiful one-handed catch in the first segment of the video... a play that I'd love to see repeated over and over at Duke!

Did you notice how much taller he is than the defensive backs trying to catch up with him? It's a full helmet difference in height! I sure hope those defenders aren't 5'5" tall, but even if they are... !

Erich's catching up and needs more votes from us to pass the current leader. Let's help him add this accolade to his resume.

For those wondering about Erich's size, he's 6'6" and weighs in at 220 lbs. He's about 40 lbs. lighter than Jimmy Graham, but has some similarities.

So he is a tightend then. I though the was a wide receiver. That play was very Conner Vernonesque though. Can't wait to see him on Saturdays. I would imagine Cut would use him much like Cooper Helfet. Thanks for the video, great catch.

As we know, what he plays at Duke may be different than what he played in high school. He's listed as a WR, but we'll see what the future holds for him at Duke.

He is listed as a TE on the Rivals recruiting site.

I'm guessing he'll play both TE and WR. Keep those votes coming. There are no limitations to how many times you can vote!

Let's make it a landslide to welcome Erich Schnieder to Duke! He's got the lead and we want him to pull way ahead. It's also the coolest of the plays in the poll.

    What a catch!

A helmet is at least a cinder block and a quarter. Good deal!

This is like Chicago. Vote early and often.

How great is that we have such an outstanding player set to enroll in time for the 2012 season? At 6'6", he's just what we need.

The poll may be over, but it's clear that we have a lot to look forward to with the sort of play Erich Schneider showed in that tape.

Thanks to everyone who voted for Erich!
