Quick question. Can the chlorine in tap water cause skin irritations? If so what are any other problems associated with it.
Second question. Anybody have any recommendations for a shower filter?

The Gordog
What's most impressive about that unit is that the filter will last ~1 year for only $29. Most faucet head drinking water filters are rated at about 200 gallons before replacement. That would be about a week's worth of showers for 2 people, water conservation efforts in the Triangle excepted.

Floridation is a communist plot. That's why I only drink rain water and grain alcohol.
Does the water in swimming pools irritate your skin (c[cl2] in SP >> c[cl2] in tw)?
Think as well of the number of times you expose your skin to bleached, wet clothes from the washer where the concentration of chlorine (and the hypochlorite ion) in bleach augmented washwater is much greater than tap water.
