I would like to add streaming audio to my website. What do I need?
Keep in mind that I do not have a Mac. But I do understand podcast can be done from non Mac recorders.

1- what kind of recorder is needed?

2- software? the best or easiest ... easiest. suggestions?

3- what are the requirements by my host?

4- tell me about hosts. what is a ballpark of the costs involved with say Real or other companies. which is the best and easiest.

I basically want to be able to have the public here interviews and maybe live streams down the road.

Your help is appreciated. Please fill in the gaps if I did not ask the right questions.
