The Rondo Challenge!

Anyone remember the drink Rondo? From the early 80s? It was kind of like a Mello Yellow. The ad campaign invited imbibers to take "The Rondo Challenge" to see how fast they could down a Rondo.

I've asked four people today and got the following responses:

1. Nope, never heard of it.
2. That doesn't ring a bell at all.
3. Are you sure? I don't think there was ever such a drink.
4. You're an idiot.

This has been a issue for me for years. It was the most popular drink at my school, and yet I have found about 3 people who remember it. And thats including you.

For years I have thought that was a Mello Yello commercial. One of my earlier embarassing memories involves turning a Mello Yello can upside down after chugging it and then unwittingly pouring about half the can all over the kitchen floor.

Wow. Today Rondo brings clarity and closure.
