Perhaps I missed something, but the change in Zoubek's predicted return to play from 10 weeks to "1-3 weeks" (per last night's announcers) came as something of a shock. Was the injury not as bad as first believed? Does anybody have a source for this other than Len Elmore and Mike Patrick?

That's definitely the number I read somewhere. Perhaps it was from an ill-informed poster on DBR, but I thought it was something more official. In either case, it's good news if it's true (the 1-3 weeks part).

The article above from goduke.com doesn't mention how long it is expected Zoubek will be out. He was out 10 weeks over the summer because of the surgery. Wonder if that is were people are getting 10 weeks from.

Hope he is back 1-3 weeks.

I hope the 1-3 weeks is accurate. I was sorry to hear he was injured again. I can't imagine how frustrating it would be to work so hard to get back into shape and then reinjure yourself. Plus win or lose, I like playing rivals at full strength.
