    TV coverage

have we seen anything yet about coverage?

  2. #2
Yeah, what the heck time do we play? It's usually out by now.

There's a very minuscule chance the game will be on cbs.

If the game isn't televised, you should be able to watch it on the web. CBS had it set up last year so that you could watch all (or nearly all) of the games for free at the site below, and it appears they are doing it again this year.

It has Duke listed at 6:10, but I really think it is supposed to be 7:10 as Billo said above

    Good time!

I'm thinking we will definitely be on in the DC area. We are up against UCLA-Weber State, Ohio State-Central Conn St, and Marquette-MSU.

I wasn't sure if I wanted to spring for the DIRECT TV package this year...

Here in the triangle, WRAL is simulcasting every single NCAA game -- they've set up additional digital and HD channels just for the tourney.

(Which means that I can actually watch GW -- my alma mater -- play, for a change.)

The NCAA MMOD webcasts are free for the 1st-3rd rounds. They charge for the regional finals, national semifinals and championship game.

The good thing is that only the first 3 rounds take place during the standard work week, and I think that every game after the fisrt 3 rounds has its own time slot. In other words, we can just turn on CBS at that point.

Did anyone else notice that the NCAA schedule currently has Duke-VCU taking place in Durham!?!

I guess the "no home court advantage" rule doesn't apply for the West region...

(They also list Wright State-Pitt as being in Pittsburgh.)
