Then I bought more yarn. (Two little sweaters in pink for my nieces, don't worry scarves will be started first.)

    Smile Shammrog Trivia & Showtime

The movie was still awful, but seeing Galina in it forced me to watch it.

Looks like our efforts to get the 'ville past Kerolina didn't pay off.

I'm hoping for a grudge match against Kansas. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the current senior class at KU the last class recruited by Roy?

Other than that, I need Texas to take out Memphis so I can have the entire Final Four picked correctly.

I think the current senior class at KU was the first recruiting class for Bill Self as this is his 5th season there. Quite possible that a player or two may be hanging around from the RW era...but they would have redshirted, etc.

Edit: A March 2, 2008 article from the Kansas City Star(www.kansascity.com) states: "Case — the only Roy Williams recruit in the group — has never played consistently and has graciously accepted a lesser role."

Ugh, my Texas over Memphis pick didn't pan out. We may be about to see all 4 1 seeds in the Final Four.

    For the first time ever.

Sadly my Xavier pick didn't pan out either and in the end, I won't be kicking Gregg's hind parts. Sigh.

    I miss y'all

I haven't contributed to the LTE (or much of anything around here) a whole lot lately. Let's just say that something at DBR [urinated] me off a while ago, and it starts with an "M" and ends with an "oderators." But now I want back in.

Today's best news is that I am headed to lovely Turner Field this evening to take part in the rousing standing ovation that will undoubtedly greet Tom Glavine as he takes the field in an Atlanta Braves uniform (his proper uniform) for the first time in 5 1/2 years. I can't wait.

    Take me back, everyone?

Hope you are taking some of the Atlanta Mafia with you for protection and to share in your comsumption of fine hand-crafted ales

Where was the S & P when you last posted? Because, I need to know if your absense has been profitable or not.

(I've turned pipe-hitting capitalist lately, sorry).

The TK thread on the main board already has ~250 posts in about 16 hours. At this pace, it will pass the LTE by the weekend.

Not I, at least for tonight.

Now about Smoltz vs. Santana ...

Welcome Home, Wilson! We missed you.

Here are some of the events that occurred while you were gone:
BillyBreen tripped 3000 posts. He's due for a tune-up and an oil change.
There's a new moderator in town.
Tilly moved; Arkie and I are next, I guess.
Devildeac has gone through his A-Z list of beers he's loved.
EJam argued with himself just hours after revealing his Sagamartha identity.
BostonDevil is readying herself for a marathon.
Steven has a fever, and the only cure is more matzah brai.
Ymo is going through a taunting phase (but his avatar is still cute).
Cameron is bowing to the Lord of Jumbo.
Jason is writing about Lost and Idol.

There's more out there. Welcome home!
    Cheers,
    Lavabe

I'm thinking of getting a pet bird.

    Really, not a joke.

Oh, and it's the 20th anniversary of my first date with my husband! (And the 17th anniversary of our getting engaged which means it's the 17th anniversary of Duke's first NCAA championship.) Happy April Fool's everyone.

Much as I like Taylor King and much as I wish him will, his thread will not having the staying power of the LTE.
