When it comes to movie quotes - often!

Could someone please summarize the first 177 pages of the thread? I don't want to go back and read them all but don't want to feel left out. Maybe a concise one paragraph.

Had to cheat and look it up...

"We all know most marriages depend on a firm grasp of football trivia."

    (P.S. First post in LTE...)

Welcome, Monkey. You will have fun, also. I leave the summary to the writers on the thread. Basically, if you can think of a topic, we have probably written about it.

I wasn't really quizzing. I just often think of that quote. It's one of my all time favorites.

    Welcome Turk and monkey.

I summarized the thread the last time somebody new joined us. Anybody else want to take a stab this time?

Oh, the quote is from Diner. Kevin Bacon says it Mickey Rourke.

I'll leave it to those gifted in putting words together. Its better for me if I can reply with a grunt...

Unless someone else beats me to it, I do promise a summary the next time I'm up to it. I am too tired to be cleverly concise this evening. Just don't leave us before I get to it, monkey.

How come you can only edit your most recent post? I'm fairly generous with the typos and some of them I don't catch right away.

I know there is a 15 minute or so time limit to edit your posts. Wasn't aware of the only most recent post issue...

I'm glad to know that, if anyone were to discuss it (and since most DBR people are big enough nerds to do so), they'd say, "wilson? I dunno...he mostly hangs out on the OTB."
We truly are a breed apart.

A little bit too much bourbon is the best amount of bourbon. Especially when it was a birthday present.

So far, throaty has not done a Handy Pocket Reference Guide for the OTB and PPB.

Short of that, I believe the best description of this thread is that it's a thread about nothing!

Creating a narrative summary of this thread would be second to only the Reference Guide as the most impressive accomplishment in the history of the DBR.

Talking BD's next play should be based on the LTE

"In the history of the DBR?"

I think you mean "in history."

Lavabe has moved into second or perhaps has been in second without me noticing. Only 55 behind me...
