Speaking of "creepy" vs. "edgy", just got done watching a Russell Brand show on cable. Thought it was funny, but still wondering if a lot of pedestrian humor sounds a lot funnier when presented with a strong British accent and weird clothes...

Question 1: Russell Brand - creepy or edgy?

Question 2: Russell Brand - very funny or just average?

No worries, that's a mortal lock. Five posts a day; no PW needed. Either of us could do it in a pinch, and DA and Oz are dropping in now and again...

I think he's a hoot. I'm also partial to guys named Russell. But you may be right about that British accent thing. I'll have to watch the show.

    "Iron City!"
    says Turk.
    Not pretty,
    he's a jerk.

    "Oh, really?"
    says Reilly,
    gaze steely,
    no smiley...

    Good call, DDeac, much better...

Now if I add some Star-bellied Sneetches, I might have something here...

    Thanks.

I'm also here for the beer.

    Now where is that thread...

I need to post a review or three there sometime this weekend...

Just like cowbell, you can always use more Star-bellied Sneetches!

I see some energy is left in the crew. Not that I'm encouraging a repeat of the amazing feat, can't happen anyway, 60 seconds. Still I'm a double-dipper and have an interest in both.

    You're not alone.

A double dip? I thought chewing tobacco was bad for you?

Nothing wrong with the Plain-bellied sort either. When I used to read to the young Turks, I liked to try different voices for the characters so I wouldn't go completely insane when I had to read something for the bazillionth consecutive time. For the Sneetches, my best lineup was Homer Simpson as the Plain-Bellies, Monty Burns as the Star-Bellies, and Bill Clinton as Sylvester McMonkey McBean.

Ice cream was the first thought that came to my mind, but I guess too much of that can be bad for you as well...

Yesterday was one of those perfect September days I wish you could put up in jars like tomatoes or peaches and pull them off the shelf in February when you could really REALLY use it...

Awww man I wish I could have had Turk story time. My parents always made me read to them.
