Offer, acceptance, consideration. Easy, you'll do fine.

Watch for the statute of frauds.

If you can work in the remedy for the breach, that's always a plus!

    Good luck.

So let's just say that wasn't the most fun I've ever had. It wasn't like a root canal, but not a barrel of monkeys either.

I am not sure that a barrel full of monkeys would, indeed, be much fun. Sounds noisy and smelly to me, with lots of scratching. Where is the joy in that?

Y'know, if you put a thousand monkeys in a room, with a thousand typewriters, at some point the stench would kill you.

Not sure what else would result, though.

I've read Pennoyer before, but it wasn't assigned for class. Thank goodness!

Crim law and Contracts were last week & those were finals.

Then I got sick Friday night. I'm still sick.

This week is midterms: Property (yesterday) and Civ Pro (upcoming)- both year long classes. Did I mention I'm still sick? All I can think is thank goodness they're 30% of the final grade for each class. That, and I keep reminding myself that it's not how I do, it's how I do compared to how the rest of the class does. Ah, grading curves- love/hate relationship.

    Watching carolina Go To HELL!

    I am sick over this

I've posted my misery everywhere else, I might as well put it here as well.

Last night, lightning tried to strike me, but I wasn't in the room.

I've played the same set of numbers for years in the various lottery games - Powerball, MegaMillions, carolina Cash 5, etc. I don't always play them, but most of the time I do. Last night, the Cash 5 numbers were mine. All 5 of them. Couldn't believe it watching the drawing on TV as they all came up. But I hadn't bought them for yesterday's drawing. No one else had them, and the jackpot rolled over to today. $230,000. before taxes. Phhhht. Gone.
    Ozzie, your paradigm of optimism!

A few years ago, I opened the door for a lady going in to a convenience store. She got in line in front of me, and bought one quick-pick Mega Million ticket. I bought five. Later, after the drawing, I heard that the winning ticket had been bought at that convenience store that day, but it wasn't me. About a week later, I saw the lady for whom I had opened the door on local news receiving her check for $14,000,000. (I really let my dad have it for telling me to always be a gentleman.)

Oh well, money doesn't buy happiness. Poverty, on the other hand, can buy a lot of misery.
