I'm actually going into work now. Rare time, I'm not busy, at all. In a couple of weeks I'll get hit with everything at once.

I'm still way down on the leader board compared to the all-time LTE greats. There's no way I'll ever make the top 10, alas.

Hmmm... How about a Top Ten poster on a Duke basketball message board?

    Inigo: "Who ARE you?"
    Westley: "No one of consequence."
    Inigo: "I must know."
    Westley: "Get used to disappointment."
    Inigo: "Okay."

I've always wanted to write like the great newspaper columnists. Here are some of the ones I've admired over the years: Art Buchwald, Mike Royko, Dave Barry, Michael Kinsley, George Will, Ellen Goodman, Phil Musick, Erma Bombeck, Bill Conlin, Tony Kornheiser, Thomas Boswell, EJ Dionne, Jimmy Breslin, Angus Phillips, etc etc etc.

I just never had the hubris to imagine that anything I could write would be worth reading one, two, or three times a week. (The fact that Royko wrote 5 columns a week is mind-boggling).

Nice enough for the internet to come along and prove my lack of imagination to be correct...

Lunchtime over; back to work. I'll pop back on after work if I have time and catch up on "LTE with BostonDevil"...

Oops, I missed a couple of hours there, stupid work. I'm going out to dinner with Mr. Bostondevil tonight to celebrate our anniversary. (It was Monday, he was out of town.) So, I'll miss more time then. I might need to restart this brilliant idea over again tomorrow.

I've got 488 posts, well, 489 posts with this one, in the LTE thread, good for 11th place just behind DA.

Just had a phone meeting and now I'm mostly done for the day, unless I want to start all the work the phone meeting produced. It's 2:30pm on a Friday. I have to leave at 3:30pm for kid pick up because I don't usually work Fridays. Hmmmm.

Yes, I have a LOST notebook. Actually, I have 3. I've filled up 2 already, I'm on my third. It didn't quite work out to one per season because there were other things in the first 2 notebooks, theater stuff mostly. But Season 3 started with a brand new notebook, all it's own.

Well, let me help you with that.

And apparently, I need to stay a bit ahead of Ozzie.

I was just offline/without ready internet access for 2 weeks.

    It was enjoyable.

I think I may need to cut down on my online time investments.

DA, my heart just isn't into a PW showdown. Rest easy. And I'll be on the road from Sunday - Wednesday with intermittent internet access, to say nothing of the business I'll be attending to. As they say on Big Brother when they pull a key, "you are safe".

I have work to do just reach the top 15. But if I can do that, I keep my tour card and won't have to go to qualifying school next year!!
