In light of the DBR front page note regarding App State's 3rd straight national title (congrats to the Mountaineers!) I thought I'd point out that tiny Mt. Union will also be going for their third consecutive title this afternoon on ESPN.

The Purple Raiders have been the most dominant college football program in the country over the past 20 years (I understand it's DIII, but still very impressive).

Head Coach Larry Kehres is 246-20-3 in 21 years as head coach at MTU. Since 1993 the Raiders have won 9 national titles (93, 96, 97, 98, 00, 01, 02, 05, 06), and at one point won 55 straight games (NCAA all-division record). Perhaps most impressively, between 1994 and 2005, they won 110 straight regular season games.

Incredible numbers for any program, at any level. Go Purple Raiders!
