^ Eh, see what I did there?
Anyway, now that we have the football coaching search wrapped up, has anyone heard anything about the search for Duke's next soccer coach? Before the season began, the prevailing wisdom was that Associate Head Coach Mike Jeffries was a shoo-in for the job. Considering the team's season ended on Nov. 23rd and Jeffries still hasn't been named as the new coach, it seems that a full coaching search is being conducted. Any ideas who has been interviewed and who the leading candidate(s) might be?
I read on another board today that Duke has interviewed four coaches for the job:
Mike Jacobs (University of Evansville Head Coach, former Duke assistant)
Mike Noonan (Brown Head Coach)
John Kerr (Harvard Head Coach, Duke alum)
Mike Jeffries (Duke Associate Head Coach, Duke alum)
For those interested, rumor has it that John Kerr will be named the next Duke Soccer head coach and it will be officially announced very soon. Stay tuned...
And it's now official:

Should have been Jacobs, IMO. But I do agree Kerr has a HUGE place in Duke sports history.
