    In all seiousness, every naming discussion needs to have at least a couple "black balls" that you can drop around a name that you just CAN'T live with... Some of those Chapel Hell-inspired names could cause concern for inspiring spontaneously frequent beatings (just kidding).

    My nine year old Camryn Elizabeth (or Cami) approves of your top names for girls.

    My choice was "Camryn Wade", but my wife said Duke Football wasn't that good. (yet)

    I thought about, but didn't even suggest that her middle name could be "Indoor" .

    Since her big sister was named Kathryn for a grandmother, we thought that using the -ryn suffix again would be clever and also ensure that no one mistook her for a boy Cameron.

    BabyBisonDevil = Grant Cameron

    Update: BabyBoyBisonDevil is due in July 08 and my wife has already decided on a name: Grant Cameron.

    I did not want to pick a baby name this early in our pregnancy, but to appease (aggravate) the wife I periodically tossed out Duke-inspired joke names: Shane Laettner, Nateb Adazz, Wolfgang Joseph, Shelden Battier & Grant Cameron.

    She actually liked Grant Cameron. I think the story behind the name is silly; but, the name has a nice ring to it. We will see if it sticks.

    Side Note: Our last name is Henderson so we may have hit the Duke trifecta.

    Go with Tarheel, if you ever get a visit from social services you can say it is only natural for a Dukie to beat a tarheel.

    Perhaps naming the child after a saint, even Michael .
    I could explain why I found the stripper names line offensive, but I'll just leave it alone. But one day some stripper may end up a saint and then we'll have St. Lexus or St. Bambi.

    "Perkins" to me reminds me way too much of Sam Perkins to have any Duke association to it.
