I saw where Pollard said they're swinging the bats better than they have all season, are more locked in on offense than they've been all season.

Since they've managed to go 35-11 with a not so great offense, it will be interesting to see what they can do with an offense that's awakened...

I tried to find a season in Duke Baseball history with 35 wins and it seems this year is the highest win total in Duke history. Next closest I saw was 33 wins. To be a ranked team with this many wins is a great achievement.

According to a somewhat dubious Wikipedia article, Duke won 39 games in 1996 and 1993, 38 games in 1992 and 37 games in 2008. I actually am not sure these data are accurate. Perhaps there's some mischief in the electronic files. But here's the link.

That looks close but not exactly right. On page 96 of the attached media guide, it looks like 39 in 1996 and 1993, 38 in 1998 and 1992, and 37 in 2008. We didn't make the NCAA tournament any of those seasons - 2016 was our first appearance since 1961.
