I need to forward this story to my class and their parents. I literally posted a request for FSU tickets about 30 mins ago.

Great story. Looks like Scheyer is on the case. I'm sure he does something nice for this teacher and/or his kids.

Doesn’t everyone cry if they get gifted free Duke tickets?
Seriously it looks like it’s going to get even better for this teacher.
John Scheyer tweeted.
“Can someone help connect me to this teacher? Awesome gift from students and an even better reaction!”

Bumped this up for more holiday cheer.
Nothing incites bodily violence quicker than a Duke fan turning in your direction and saying 'scoreboard.'
This guy is a teacher at my high school alma mater. I never had him as a teacher -- he didn't start there until after I graduated. But my younger brother had him and says great things about him. He's nurtured and mentored countless students and, as the article notes, he's a huge Duke fan, so this is the perfect gift for him. I hope some of the folks on this board who have connections with the staff can help Coach Scheyer link up with him.
Fun fact: This is the same school that produced current NBA player Khris Middleton of the Milwaukee Bucks, former NFL fullback Ovie Mughelli, and Stephen Colbert.

I wonder if somebody could contact Mr Slayton and get him to post about his experience. It was an amazing game with an amazing crowd devoid of most students.
