Breaking News: LaVar Ball Is Not Newsworthy
Jeff Goodman, who was assigned the Lithuania beat for ESPN, now expresses regrets for contributing to the media circus. I guess it is newsworthy that Goodman is no longer with ESPN.
Count Goodman in the camp that doesn’t think LaVar is doing his sons any favors:
“Goodman: How disrespectful. He’s just not very bright. Ultimately that’s just what I’ll say: He’s just not very bright. Because if he was, he wouldn’t put all three of his kids in harm’s way like he has.”
media can't ignore a dumpster fire...that's a fact...
"One POSSIBLE future. From your point of view... I don't know tech stuff.".... Kyle Reese
Marv Marinovich has long been the poster child for little league dads.
I think we have a new leader.
The bawlers are still making news overseas.
Lamelo starts the fight, but big brother Liangelo (#3) come to his rescue.
Reports are coming in that Trump might issue a copyright infringement lawsuit against BBB and LaVar Ball for the unlicensed use of "USA" and red, white and blue on their jerseys.
Just kidding, but the fact that you could imagine it happening is how messed up our news cycle has become...
I'm offended that we waste bandwidth writing about those idiots!
LaMelo is travelling back to high school. (And there is a Brandon Ingram connection to who he is playing for.)
http://www.espn.com/espn/story/_/id/...ool-basketball"I'm excited to return to school and rejoin my class on the court for my senior year," Ball told SLAM Magazine. "Playing in international competition was a great experience. I learned and matured so much. I appreciated the JBA experience my dad provided for me. I think it helped my development. I can't wait to play with my peers."
So guessing a year of high school, and then G-Leagueing it.
Q "Why do you like Duke, you didn't even go there." A "Because my art school didn't have a basketball team."
LaMelo said he'd like play at Duke, UNC or Kentucky.
