What hotel is the team hotel, and how far from the stadium?
What is there to do in Detroit if I have to kill a day after the game?
Delta is apparently ready if I am.

Q "Why do you like Duke, you didn't even go there." A "Because my art school didn't have a basketball team."

A day trip out to Dearborn could be a good choice. If you're lein history, industrialization and the dawn of simple technology, try the Henry Ford. There's a tour of the River Rouge Plant available. https://www.thehenryford.org/visit/greenfield-village/
I want to see the Motown Museum.
It appears our opponent will be Northern Illinois:

This happened there yesterday, FYI: https://www.freep.com/story/news/loc...oit/915970001/
(Just booked there nevertheless.)
We went to a Lions game a few years ago and stayed at the Book Cadillac Westin which was very nice and a very short walk from the stadium. We are trying to figure out whether we can make this trip - unfortunately not looking good due to previous commitments.
Again, at the end of the day, given all of the inputs, the bottom line was 1L < 2L. Quite frankly, I'd love to see a play-in game between Alabama and OSU--it would be entertaining as heck. But at the end of the day, I think the committee got it right (and it's a bit of poetic justice to see Meyer and OSU on the outside looking in the year after they set the precedent for a non-conference-champion being selected as the fourth team).
FWIW, they tried to implode the main supports for the Pontiac Silverdome today. They were not successful.
I got there by googling "Lions Quick Lane bowl" ... it was also linked in the bowl vigil thread:
