Good explanation of the G League and some expectations for the coming season.
It lists the "Ten Under the Radar Rookies to watch and 4 Honorable Mention" (Amile is the 1st honorably mentioned).
The article also asks the the question of the G League could be a replacement for the NCAA.
Amile had 15 points and 11 rebounds in 31 minutes as Iowa lost to Ontario 109-91. On the other side, Marshall had 8 points and 9 rebounds in 28 minutes and Andre had 4 points in 25 minutes. Taylor King did not play.

Quinn had a feature article on the league website:

I'm not suggesting it's the only way but some guys need more game action rather than only practice. I can't stand when coaches base things off of practice because imo it is the most useless baseline of a players skill. Let them play in a game some even if it is short.

So, Quin is like the best player in the G-league. He's leading the league in scoring (26 ppg) while also putting up 6.7 apg and 4.1 rpg. It is almost a pity he is on a 2-way contract as it ties him to the Warriors and no other NBA team can sign him.
Why are you wasting time here when you could be wasting it by listening to the latest episode of the DBR Podcast?
Amile had 27 points and 17 rebounds in 41 minutes, but Iowa lost to Northern Arizona 124-119 in overtime.

I keep seeing Taylor King listed and figure it must be a joke, it seems so long ago he was at Duke, he's got to be 40
He left Duke after the 2007-8 season, transferred to Villanova to play the 2009-10 season, and then played for Concordia in Canada 2010-11. He's played professionally in the National Basketball League of Canada (didn't know that existed), the British Basketball League and the Lithuanian Basketball League. Now the G League.
He's 29 and still chasing the dream. Not the typical path, but because he has a shot, I suppose he's got a shot.
Go Taylor!
That would be Concordia the NAIA school in California. He also played a season in Taiwan and spent some time in a Mexican regional league and touring the Middle East.
Honestly, while the G League is less pay than a lot of overseas leagues, it's still better (and far more reliable) than some of the leagues that he has actually played in, so being able to play close to home for a season could have its appeal even if the point is not the NBA.
Amile had 9 points and 12 rebounds in 41 minutes as Iowa lost to South Bay 119-99. His team will get to replace him for his time on national team duty.

Quinn had 30 points and 13 assists in 37 minutes in Santa Cruz's 122-111 win over Salt Lake City. Michael Gbinije had 3 points in 30 minutes. For those not keeping track, Quinn spent Monday with the big club so that's another day on his countdown.
