Roy doth protest too much, methinks.
Huckleberry Hamlet's Soliloquy
To cheat, or not to cheat, that is the question:
Or actually it isn't, for cheat we shall!
Whether 'tis nobler in the game to suffer,
The sling and arrows of fair competition
Or to dump ethics against a sea of more talent
And by cheating, get by. To whine, to cheat--
No more-- and by cheat we say we end
The heartache, and the thousand losses that
Our lack of heart is heir to. 'Tis a consummation
Devoutly to be wished. To whine, to cheat--
To cheat-- perchance to get busted; ay there's the rub,
For in that cheating what mild sanctions may come
When we have shuffled off the Carolina Way
Should have given us pause. But didn't.
Whatever. Did I mention winning?
There's the disrespect that makes a calamity of
So long a reputation. So down the hatch!
You're in the contingent that thinks uNC basketball is more important nationally than it actually is. That's ok, but I think it is misguided. uNC and its fandom certainly think so, and we are influenced by our rivalry, but I think few people give a rip about uNC basketball once you get out of the state.
Yeah, it is worth noting that it is entirely possible there will be no advance notice when the sanctions are announced. Carolina gets advance notice, but unless the Tar Heels inform the public (and why would they?) I'm not sure there would be any public notice before the information is released (though it would seem likely there will be a leak from UNC about this as the Heels have been very leaky thus far).

Why are you wasting time here when you could be wasting it by listening to the latest episode of the DBR Podcast?
The key is to be prepared.
