I am not going to use the one embed per post on Marshall because, Quinn fully deserves it, but this highlight video is worth a look for his dunks and a couple of nifty left-handed hook shots:

Yeah, Quinn is looking really good and putting up excellent count stats. I am guessing that teams don't have an immediate need and so want him to stay sharp as opposed to picking him up to be the 12th (or 13th or whatever) man and getting no burn.
But he certainly looks ready - which is a very strong testament to Quinn because there were definitely questions about his ability to translate even after his senior year.

I don't think it's quite that simple necessarily. There is some demand for point guards right now. There is just a ton of supply. The sixers just signed Chasson Randle to a 10-day after working out Randle, Cat Barber (who's on the sixers D-Leagie team), Briante Weber, and Yogi Ferrell. I was a bit dissapointed not to see Quinn at least get an invite. Of course, that doesn't even count contending teams like Cleveland, who are likely to be more interested in veteran free agents like Mario Chalmers or Jarrett Jack.

Again, these games are part of the D League Showcase, so they are all held in one location, this year in Mississauga. Front office personnel from all the NBA teams will be at the event as well as scouts from a number of international leagues, so expect to see some of the bigs disappear and head to the Philippines later in the season and players of all positions looking for summer jobs in Puerto Rico. The single location makes it easier to broadcast all of the games, so Andre's game at 12:30pm ET tomorrow will be ESPNU. Unfortunately, the possible matchup of Quinn and Ryan at 6:00pm ET is only on Facebook Live.

Quinn's work is not going unnoticed by people who follow the league as he sits in 7th in the league website's prospect rankings and 10th in the D League Digest rankings. There were also rumors of NBA teams who liked what they saw at the showcase. Now we just need one to take the plunge.
Let's see...the CAVS need a true point guard.....i wonder if there's any hot D-league point guards that have been burning it up that they could possibly give a try to?

While we all hope Quinn finds a spot for a 10-day, Cleveland likely won't be the spot. They already have a rookie point guard they like in Kay Felder, but want a more reliable vet for the playoff push. Now it's certainly possible that they could call Quinn up as a stop gap if they feel like they have a vet signing in the works, but aren't ready to pull the trigger for whatever reason. I just don't see that as the most likely scenario.
Outside of Cleveland, there have only been two point guards who have earned 10-days so far this year, Chasson Randle (who almost earned a full time slot out of camp if not for an injury) and 32 year old vet Ronnie Price (who hasn't officially signed his yet). Beyond this, even with Quinn at #7 in the prospect watch, it should be noted that 1, 2, and 8 on that list are all point guards, and those other three have all suited up for NBA teams before. That's not even accounting for veteran free agents still out there or guys on the trade block. All this is to say that while teams might be noticing what Quinn is doing, there is so much depth in point guard availability that it won't take a conspiracy for him not to get signed in the near future. There's just lots of deserving point guards out there.
