Revolution Mosaic Hero
Pineapple and lemon nose.
Initial impression is the Two Brothers Outlaw may be better.
Honestly, I’m not sure the relative comparison matters as this is a very tasty beer.

Ah, Anchor. The brewery that started it all for me with Anchor Steam.

Now wishing I knew a local brewery making a brut IPA.
Sounds amazing.
And, less than a year ago, another giant moved in:

I think this is what I had a pint of at Tyler's in Durham after we took an Amtrak train from Raleigh to Durham accompanied by the grandkiddies:
INGREDIENTS: Pilsner Malt, Oats, Citra & Mosaic Hops, Ale Yeast
DESCRIPTION: An addition to our experimental hop series. This IPA is hopped with equal quantities of Citra and Mosaic in the brewhouse and fermenter.
SENSORY RESULTS: Slightly golden in color with notes of grapefruit, mango and passion fruit. Classically brewed providing a perfectly balanced bitter and sweet finish.
Citra Mosaic IPA(draft)-1323 R&D Brewing
Drink local (Raleigh brewery) while visiting another town !
Pint pour was a light, golden-yellow with a modest, creamy head. Grapefruity and orange-y scents, followed by the same tastes, a squeeze of rind, a splash of stone fruits and a mildly bitter, dry finish. IBU were 48, bit low for an IPA, with the ABV at 6.2%. This was actually rather refreshing on a warm day and paired nicely with a reuben and pub salad combo.

Southern Pecan-Lazy Magnolia Brewery
Mississippi's oldest brewery.
Our part-time nurse (Duke N-77) delivered a mixed 6er for my birthday this week and this was in the front of the fridge tonight.
Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into a standard pint glass. Dark amber (or was it light brown? ) with a small, short-lived head. Nutty scents and mild pecan, caramel and toasted bread tastes with some earthy/herbal hops. Mouthfeel was a bit thin. Minimal bitterness with IBUs of 19. ABV was 4.39% on the website and 4.5% on the label. I'm not gonna quibble . I'd have this with ribs or brisket and some smoked potato salad. There's a sweet potato stout on deck for tomorrow night...

Super thrilled to have found Anderson Valley Briney Melon Gose at the store.
Great summer beer.
Grateful (brewed 9/10/17)-Starr Hill Brewery
Member #2 of my birthday gift last week from our part-time nurse.
An American pale ale
Pour was a slightly cloudy, pale straw color with a modest head. Nose of orange-grapefruit juice, light version. There's a bit of pine/resin to accompany the light caramel and citrus-y flavors and a mildly bitter, but not unpleasant finish. Burgers and grilled chicken would be happy with this beverage. Overall, an average brew, likely with some blame on the fact it was about 9 months old.

Googling now, never heard of it.
Webpage points to FB, which has not been updated since March 2017.
Twitter not since January 2017.
Not holding my breathe that the dueling sloths didn’t dish out concurrent fatalities and haven’t been heard from since an untimely demise.
