Thad had joined the Forty-Niners this year and had a reasonably good chance of being the team's third string QB. On Sunday, his stats were the best of any of the Forty-Niner QBs who played. He was 12 of 21 for 97 yards. He led the team with 38 snaps. He was hurt on a third-down scramble for about a yard.

Looks like he's out for the season. This is really tough luck as Thad looked to be coming into his own as a pro QB.
