The best part of this early decision is the connection that Jones has with Garland and Reddish. At some point, people have wondered if Duke can land two of the top PGs in the class together, but while Garland and Jones are not a package deal, they are close friends and have speculated about playing together -- suggesting they make a very good fit. Reddish, the best SG in the class, is also a close friend.

In terms of size and talent, a Garland-Jones backcourt would be very similar to Cook-Jones backcourt (although not as experienced).

Now Jones can hit the recruiting trail and help put together the team he will play with in 2018-19.

Oddly, ESPN's recruiting page lists Tre at 6'1 but the 'Insider' evaluation refers to "6'4". Any scoop as to which it is?

It's going to be a small class in terms of height unless some things change.

ESPN does list him at 6-1 ... but 247, scout and rivals all lists him at 6-2.

At Draft Express, they list three actual measurements -- all taken at USA basketball.

Oddly, the first and the third are exactly 6-1 .. the middle one (in 2015) was 6-2 1/2.

All a matter of which shoes he was wearing during those USA BBall measurements. But I'd guess that 6'1" or 6'2" is probably correct.

As I was going to make a similar remark had you not beaten me to it, I am taking joint credit.

I hope his knee feels "Marvelous" tomorrow.

I believe the Fletch height is six-nine with the fro as I have watched that movie many times.

    Welcome, Tre!

I guess that makes him cruciate to ultimate success in completing the Class of 2018 recruiting package.

You're probably right. I've watched it several times, too, but it's been a while.

    I'm hip.

Or I might be a bit behind in surgeries.

So much for getting a leg up on the topic
