After being let go by her last team due to injury concerns, another team in Germany, Rotenburg, did their own medical examination and signed her to a short term contract as an extended tryout. Her teammates include ex-Texas Tech player Kierra Mallard, former Wisconsin-Milwaukee player Angela Rodriguez, rookie Christa Baccus from Buffalo, Hannah Pakulat, who briefly attended high school in Texas, and ex-West Virginia player Korinne Campbell, who will likely leave the team after her short term contract expires. In this game, they lost 74-69 to Herner. Shay had 12 points in 27 minutes. Mallard had 14 points and 7 rebounds and Rodriguez had 10 points. It was supposed to be Shav versus Greg Oden (or possibly more accurately, Greg Oden versus Han Dejun, who not particularly affecionately is known as "the Flying Pig"), which probably contributed to the selection of the game. Usually the channel posts highlights later, so we may get a glimpse of him.
