Congratulations to all of the student-athletes.
Cheering for 2 more wins for Kerrin Maurer. Let's Go, Duke!
To the surprise of exactly no one, the USILA announced today that Myles Jones is the winner of the 2015 McLaughlin Award as the outstanding midfielder in Division 1 men's lacrosse. Myles is the fourth Blue Devil midfielder to receive the award, following Jm Gonnella in 1997, Kevin Cassese in 2002, and C.J. Costabile in 2012.
Albany's Lyle Thompson was named player of the year, Kevin Rice of Syracuse was named attackman of the year, Notre Dame's Matt Landis was named defenseman of the year, and Kyle Bernlohr of Maryland was named the top goalkeeper.
Earlier this week, four Duke players were named USILA All-Americans. Attacker Kerrin Maurer was named to the women's first team. Jones and SSDM Will Haus were named to the men's first team, while midfielder Deemer Class was named to the men's second team.
Congrats to all.

The only one I can think of is Alaa Abdelnaby.
