The guy who paid $750,000 for Barry Bonds' record breaking homerun has decided to let the public vote on what should happen to the ball.
It either gets sent to the Hall of Fame, or it gets branded with an asterisk and then sent to the Hall, or it gets put on a rocket and blasted into outer space.
I am in awe of this man spending $750-grand for a stunt like this, but also in awe of his idea. He is a genius... a crazy genius but a genius.

I voted for it to go the HOF. If Mark McGwire's bat can be in the HOF then so can Bonds' baseballs, the one for breaking the record and the one for setting it once he retires. It's still history whether or not he juiced.
I'll go with the asterisk.

I thought this was the best idea ever?

I voted for HOF, however, now that I think of it, I wish that I had voted to have it blasted into space to force this yozo (genius? give me a break) to spend more of his money.
