Jenna Frush has pursued her undergraduate work in pre-med while spending valuable time as a basketball player. But she said her experience in basketball has actually helped her with school. She’s been a two-time ACC Honor Roll selection.
“It’s a different experience,” she said. “But I’ve explained to people there is so much that goes into being a pre-med student at Duke I have so much respect for friends that do that. I don’t think I could do it without basketball. The stresses that come with being pre-med are literally taken away as soon as I walk in here. Coach P does such a great job of taking our mind off school but encouraging us to do well. Coming here and having a different goal to work for takes the stresses away. It’s been a really great thing having that balance.”
