Dahntay and his team are two wins away from the money. In the first game today, they beat PUBB (Princeton University Basketball) Champions Tour 68-66. Dahntay had 10 points in 33 minutes. In the quarterfinals, they beat DMV's Finest (featuring many former Maryland and Georgetown players) 83-76 as Dahntay had 24 points and 7 rebounds in 34 minutes to lead his team. On Sunday, they face Big Apple Basketball, which was Rashad McCants's team until he found somewhere more important to be this weekend. They are supposed to give about $225,000 of the prize money to the Big Apple Basketball organization. The other side of the bracket, which has not been chalk like Dahntay's side's 1-4 matchup, has 11 seed PeacePlayers International, which has earmarked $200,000 for the namesake charity, and 10 seed Notre Dame Fighting Alumni, which obviously features a number of former players from Mike Brey's program.
