Calipari can fix the NCAA according to Calipari

The funniest part of this article is Cal saying that the NCAA does not want his help. You think?

Honestly, I can't say that I disagree with most of his ideas other than the loan available to player based on future earnings. That would open a can of worms.

In The Wall Street Journal article linked through the ESPN article (not certain if the link is paywalled), Cal also proposes the NCAA allow players to have money for access to lawyers (aka agents?) and "formal attire" to wear when representing the school. Will be interesting to read how much Cal would budget for legal fees and formal attire.

    President William J. Clinton:
"If you are a college basketball fan like I am, you’ll understand why I’ve long admired John Calipari’s leadership style. While no coach treasures a win more than John, this terrific book reveals his greater purpose—to lead his young players to better lives, and then challenge them to give back to others."

Golly, could this be another recruiting angle for Cal the player's pal? "Come to Ky, our recruits have had the highest average earning potential over the last X years, and you can get the most money THIS YEAR, as soon as you sign with KY."

I think rather than focus on fixing the NCAA, he should go "fix" the Lakers or coach some far-away country's Olympic team or otherwise occupy himself far, far away from college baksetball.
