I remember watching from the house D commons room. I think we literally punched out a dozen ceiling tiles when the shot went in and then ran outside to burn stuff. Lots of stuff.

My father died five years ago on March 28. I like the memory/video of "The Shot" far, far better than thinking of his passing, especially considering he was a huge Duke fan.

This brings back fond memories of my late mother-in-law, a woman who, to my knowledge, never paid much attention to basketball or cheered for any team except for the 1991 and 1992 Duke teams, shrieking in happiness in my living room. And I do mean shrieking.
