Jim, let me add my wishes to those preceding me for a swift and full recovery. This whole community's thoughts are with you and wish you the best.
I'm always sorry to hear of illness - anywhere - but especially befalling one of my "PUB" buddies. Be well and heal expeditiously. Best wishes as well to your family.
Best wishes for a speedy recovery. Take care.
Good vibes for a full and speedy recovery!

Sending prayers for a quick and full recovery.
Best wishes for a quick and full recovery, Jim.
Jim,
We need you to recover quickly, because this board may become totally untied from any factual anchor without your posts!
Matt
Get well soon Jim!
Very sorry to hear Jim is having health issues, and wishing him a very speedy recovery. One of the great writers of our time, and we are blessed to have him be a member here as well.
Get well soon Jim! We will keep you in our prayers and hope you are back with us soon.
hope you are better soon.
Best wishes, Jim.
Can't think of better medicine than a Chick Fil-A Bowl win for the Blue Devils.
It is interesting how you take some things (and some people) for granted, and don't really think about them until they aren't there. I never really thought much about how fortunate we are on this board to have Jim's factual grounding. Fortunately, his absence is temporary, and I promise never again to read a post from him without thinking of him. Bounce back, Jim!
So sorry to hear you are on the injury list! Be the best patient ever and make this just a bump in the road! It will be in your rear view mirror very soon. I just feel it. Good luck, big guy!
Love, Ima

'When I got on the bus for my first road game at Duke, I saw that every player was carrying textbooks or laptops. I coached in the SEC for 25 years, and I had never seen that before, not even once.' - David Cutcliffe to Duke alumni in Washington, DC, June 2013
for a speedy recovery. Come back soon!
When he speaks, people listen. If I see Sumner listed as the lost poster on a thread, I click it. If I'm browsing a threat and see he's posted, I stop and read it. He's a credit to his profession and to our university. Get well soon!
Prayers for a quick return to good health.
