Unofficially, it does. As Ozzie missed the Duke-unc game last year to attend a HS reunion and this year to attend the MBB games in NYC and we won both games, I propose that he be banned from attendance at any Duke-unc FB games for, let's say, 5-10 years. I talked with him on his return journey from NYC today, so he knows this is a-comin'.

Got back just after you posted. And yes, the margins of victory (victories) would have been MUCH LARGER if I had been there! I do plan on attending next year's home carolina game! Will consider appropriate bribes of tropical vacations... NAH! I'll be there!

No, I drove. Stopped in the DC area for about four hours sleep. Still running on caffeine and the simple joy of beating the Evil Cheating Smurfs. Crashing soon!

For next year's game, we can set up a TV in the parking lot, and if we get behind, we can send you out of the stadium to watch the rest of the game there. :-)

I was talking to a Duke fan on the shuttle bus back to the Friday parking lot. I had just pulled up the women's game on YouTube on my phone. We talked about when I was in the band, in 1980 (?) we played in the first HoF game against Kentucky during the Carolina football game at home. One of the seniors brought a portable TV and about 50 DUMBers huddled around the ~12" TV to try and watch that game. Not sure where he found an outlet to plug it in!
