FH: Duke Seeded in NCAA Tournament, Hosts First and Second Rounds

Duke's solid ACC Tournament performance got the attention of the selection committee.

Duke leapfrogged over UVa and got the number four overall seed, and will host first and second round games on campus Saturday and Sunday.

Duke will face New Hampshire in the first round. A win will put them into the quarterfinals against either Virginia or UMass.

Have not heard an announcement of the time yet. Hopefully it will give Duke fans a chance to tailgate, watch the game, tailgate some more to celebrate a first-round win, and then head over to WW.

Of note, the ACC dominated the seedings, taking all four. All of the other ACC teams make it. Unlike almost every conference realignment that has made it better for the non-revenue sports, this is one of a number of sports for Maryland that will have more trouble after their move.
