A little mini-update before the next full one.

Jess Foley will miss 4 to 5 weeks with a broken cheekbone. Given that her team is pretty much out of the running for the playoffs, that might be it for her season. It was particularly bad timing because she was scheduled to report to a national team camp ahead of the 2014 World Championship for Women. Fortunately, the coach has indicated that she will have a chance again when he convenes his next camp. It would be quite impressive to have a full-time medical student representing one of the top national teams in the world.

Not sure if this has been covered, but judging by tweets Nolan has put out the past couple weeks it looks like he's not enjoying his time overseas. Not sure what options would be left for him if he were return to the states at the end of the season.

Yeah, the overseas life is full of ups and downs and homesickness is a real issue. I would assume that Nolan will get his share of summer league invites and impressing there could lead to a training camp invite. Next D League season would be a last resort. On the flip side, he has impressed enough overseas that he might land a gig in a different country that might interest him.
