Even though they are not covered here in depth, every so often I like to provide brief updates on players who started at Duke before playing for other schools. Chelsea Hopkins is having a good first overseas season in Israel with Bnot Hertzeliya. Eric Boateng is playing in Argentina for La Union Formosa. Jamal Boykin just made his debut in Ukraine for Cherkasy. Earlier in the season, he was signed on a short term deal as an injury replacement for Wurzburg in Germany.

No, this was Duke + UNC tag team vs the rest of the world (they are on the same team and there is no truth to the rumor that Sean May attempted to eat one of the opposition but was stopped by the fact that he has an injured foot). Three players on the other team got the suspension. The best part was reading a translation of the team's official statement defending their players. Jawad just had one of the opposition players in a headlock to protect Daniel, who was viciously attacked without provocation apparently.
