    Yay flowers

The one thing about all the mild rainy weather here is that spring, summer and fall, we have lots and lots of flowers.

I currently have purple dahlias and red, pink and purple gladiolus blooming in my front yard; the acres and acres and acres of tulips that bloom just north of here in early summer are just an amazing sight.

I try to pick up a bouquet from the farmers markets at least once a month during the summer; flowers make me smile.
