on Sean Renfree (from Peter King of "SI")

Here's a quote from Peter King's MMQB column:

"Finally, three players I'll be watching at the Combine, three with question marks and debatable upsides:

    1. Quarterback Sean Renfree, Duke. No one's talking about him, but he completed 70 percent of his throws in six of 12 games for David Cutcliffe last fall, was a comeback specialist, and has the pedigree in a good pro-style offense to play early. Could he be more than a late-round flyer, this year's Ryan Lindley? We'll see."

I think whoever takes a shot with Sean will be pleasantly surprised. He has shown poise in the pocket, and an ability to put the ball where it needs to go.

    Best of luck!

What was the extent of Renfree's injury from the Bowl Game? Is he back to being able to work out?

Hope he gets a shot, and looking forward to Conner Vernon getting drafted.

Renfree is getting some publicity from Chris Mortensen of ESPN and Mike Mayock a draft guru for NFL Network.

Mike Mayock says in that last article"“Does not have a big arm talent,’’ Mayock said, “but his anticipation and accuracy are outstanding. He’s going to be a fifth-round guy.” That would put him in the top 8 QBs selected based on historical trends (average 12 QBs selected over the 7 rounds and 8 QBs selected in the first 5 rounds).
