Personally, the annoyance for me stems from teams being either "athletic" (black) or "cerebral" (white) and goes back at least 20 years or so. Outside of that context, it's humorous, because by all accounts our least "athletic" team won a national championship in 2010.

I don't give a rip what the media calls us when we are knocking off top 5 teams.

unathletic is code for "white"....it's also code for, "can't jump out of the gym, can't break legs, doesn't slam, won't make the highlight reel" and a bunch of other things that folks want to describe their distain for basketball fundamentals....

as i mentioned in my other post...uk got most of the highlights (huge dunks/blocks) and duke got the win...

(Truth be told, he is only The Most Intersting Man in the World because Nate is too humble to want the title himself).
