50th Anniversary of "Lawrence of Arabia" - Special Event

Sorry for the short notice.

Perhaps my favorite film of all time is being shown tonight, in theaters, using a digital remastering of the original 70mm film. This is probably as close as we'll ever get to the original 70mm experience. I saw the restored version of LoA back in 1989, and it was stunning. There are just so many details you miss on a smaller screen or when watching a version based on the 35mm films.

Was sooooooo disappointed to have seen this 3 days after the event occurred. The other day at the movie theater, more events like this were advertised (like original Halloween the weekend of Halloween).
