Fairly long injury list. Needless to say, football is a rough sport.

Good news is David Helton looks like he is back from his concussion. Would like to see Anthony Young-Wiseman suit up if nothing else to support the lack of depth at safety.

    Cody Robinson

I am surprised that Cody Robinson does not appear on the depth chart or the injury report. He was a highly ranked recruit that many considered a lock to receive early playing time. Can anyone give me an update on his status?

A lot of people think Cutcliffe plays games with his two deep announcements. For example, Tanner Stone, a true frosh, has been listed as the number two left OT, but Cutcliffe doesn't play true frosh on the OL, so this listing is extremely dubious.
Indeed, Robinson and a few other guys are conspicuously missing from the depth chart, but I wouldn't be surprised to see them in the game on Saturday.

Lakeem Tomlinson was listed as second-team on the weekly depth charts his entire true freshman season and never played a down.

No idea on Robinson. He was listed as third team coming out of spring practice.

But he is a redshirt freshman. A bit early to write him off.

Whatever his name is, this is the year we ought to see some real improvement in our OL. Will we? I have no idea...but if we could create some holes for our best group of running backs in decades, we'll be a much,
    much better team.

You are quite right. A consistent running game would also keep our defense off the field. Cut is working the problem. I hope he gets Lucas Patrick back soon. He could make a difference in the running game. Does anyone know if he is close to returning? I hope he does not have a Grant Hill experience with his ankle.

Duke has veteran linemen who were recruited by other top schools.

Duke has veteran running backs who were recruited by other top schools and two highly-touted freshmen running backs [freshmen can make an impact at RB].

Duke has a new offensive-line coach who supposedly has been preaching playing-with-some-nasty.

Duke has talked about a renewed committment to the running game.

So, all the pieces should be in place. We should know more in about 28 hours.

That sums it up. But I've learned not to get my hopes up.

Was not able to attend due to work duties but did listen to Bob Harris and crew. It was good to hear that Anunike and Young-Wiseman played but did not hear DeWalt-Ondijo's name. Did he see action? How about Woodruff? Encouraging also to NOT hear of any significant in-game injuries. Hope we can stay healthy in practice this week.
[redacted] them and the horses they rode in on.

Ondijo did play. I do not recall Woodruff playing but could be mistaken. There were numerous players with cramps but no apparent significant injuries.

Dewalt-Ondijo, Young-Wiseman and Helton all played. I do not believe Woodruff played.

The biggest question mark is Nguyen's ankle, which she rolled in the 2011 tumbling championships. Hopefully it has fully healed for the season, but as with many rolled ankles, your tumbling ability takes a...tumble.

I'm quite sure I saw Woodruff out there, but I think it was special teams only.

As predicted, true freshman Stone didn't play, even though Cut lists him on the two deep. Extraordinarily likely he won't play this year at all.
But (touted and sizeable...all 2900-300) redshirt frosh Abramian (sp?) , Robinson, Skura and Ginn all played, which is good news...

Woodruff played one play, on defense.
