If you happen to be in Indianapolis for other reason this weekend, this may be a good event to try to catch in person as well.

Not likely, but anything is possible. They're 26-1 on the year with their only loss to #4 USC who they have since beaten three times. They just shut out #16 Vanderbilt and have three players currently ranked in the top 30 in the country. We're ranked #9 right now and just defeated #8 Kentucky. Have a great top 10 player in Cunha, but then there is a bit of a drop off with the #2 singles player ranked 43 in the country. In any event, go Duke!

    LAX Quarterfinals

The women play Maryland today (Saturday) at noon; there will be a live feed on http://ulive.cbssports.com. This is a long shot as Maryland is a strong number one seed, but who knows?

The men play Notre Dame Sunday at 2:30 on ESPNU. Notre Dame is the second seed and Duke the seventh but a lot of people pick Duke to win. Could definitely go either way and should be an interesting game.

The men's tennis team unfortunately lost to #1 UCLA 4-0. However, it was closer than that sounds. Duke unexpectedly lost the doubles point - Duke has the #2 and #19 doubles teams in the nation, but dropped the matches 8-6 and 9-8 (7-5 in the breaker). In the six singles matchups, Duke rolled out to win the first set on four courts (needed to win 4 out of the 6 singles matches to win the matchup). However, UCLA extended the lead to 3-0 with an easy win at #6 and ACC POY Cunha was upset at the #1 spot. Thus, Duke needed to win the remaining matches and at the #3 spot UCLA came back to take it in three sets. The other three courts were unfinished with Duke leading on all three: 6-3, 5-5 at #2; 7-6, 2-1 at #4; and 7-6, 4-3 at #5, but they don't finish them out since we still would have lost even if victories were claimed on those three courts. Tough loss, but very solid season overall.
