Need help from the tech savvy

Is there a way to connect an android phone to your card DVD player? The phone has a mini-HDMI output and the car DVD player has a component (red/white/yellow) input.
I would love to be able to allow the kids to watch movies/tv from the phone on the TV in the car.
Is this even possible to convert from mine-HDMI to Component?

    Any suggestions welcome.

    Thanks,

    ARo24

I'd check Monoprice (no affiliation, just a satisfied customer). http://www.monoprice.com

You may have to do multiple cables- something to convert mini-HDMI to HDMI, and then HDMI to component.
You may find what you are looking for in this link:

Looks like it is doable with about $10 in cable adapters.

    Good luck!

I also would recommend monoprice.com as well. Cables are very low-priced but are stable and do the job. One caveat: make sure you check the size of the cable (including thickness). I got some HDMI cables and they turned out to be a lot longer and thicker than I realized they would be. This is not a big problem or anything, just something you may want to be aware of given your issue.
