Check out McRoberts' guest appearance on Greg Oden's official blog. Cool insider info on the rookie photo shoot, etc.

I beleive there is a scientific relationship between the length of josh's hair and his basketball ability.

Long golden locks in high school = great success
Buzz cut at Duke = not so much
Somewhere in between with the Blazers = 2nd team All Rookie

Lol, I think you hit it on the head.

I think he had the I don't care hair while in Durham, if I'm not mistaken.

Is it just me, or does it look like he really needs to spend some more time in the weight room?

Agreed. And maybe it's just me getting older, well, I'm sure of it in fact, but he looks like a high school kid. I guess he's not that far removed from it. I'm just getting older.

Conversely, ESPN interviewed Oden last Saturday and Oden was wearing glasses. I was watching from a distance and before I found out it was Oden, my first thought was that they were interviewing an old-timer. He looked 55 years old.

I am sure he is getting in shape now. He is, apparently, working out with Oden the past month or so in Indi with the Blazer's player development guy. That plus working the rest of the summer under an NBA regimen should improve his body a ton. Josh looks like a 20 yr old (unlike a lot of the guys that age in the NBA). As he matures, he will get bigger.

Oh, and it looks like Josh's lack of big guns isn't hurting him too much with the ladies...

Depends on how you define "big guns."

I hate that the caption above the picture read, "Another reason to hate Duke".
