Harvard got jobbed.
Discuss the East region here. Syracuse is the 1 seed.

FSU as a 3 seed. Wow,
Fsu moves all the way up to a 3 seed!
#7 Gonzo plays #10 West Virginia in Pittsburgh. That's a home game for WVU.
Florida State is not a team that Ohio State wants to see.
Windy City Devil
K-State is a team that Syracuse did not want to see in the second round. The Wildcats could lose to Southern Miss, but they are the exact type of team that can give Syracuse problems. If you are looking for a 1 seed losing in the second round, that's got to be it.
I like Ohio St. in this region. I think there is a lot to be said about them getting out of the Big 10 for a while.
Syracuse should travel pretty well to Boston; if they get out of KSU alive, I like them over OSU. Sullinger struggles with length anyway.
Digger just picked Florida State over Ohio State on ESPN.
This region is full of bad teams for Syracuse Kansas St. Vanderbilt, and FSU. I could see Vandy riding the hot streak right to the final 4 as FSU is bound to go cold soon.
I really like Ohio St. in this region. I am definitely one of those people that think the Buckeyes just needed to get out of the Big Ten for a bit. I can't imagine Florida St. putting together 4 straight good games (much like last year). They just did 3 in a row, though, so who knows. Although the last 2 were against teams missing a key player.
Just caught the tail end of ESPN...Fab Melo ineligible.
Let me find the link.
Not much info now but here's the link:

Now if only they'd find the entire Kentucky team to be ineligible.
I wonder if they knew this little fun fact if they would have changed their seeding, though?
Syracuse and Kentucky were pretty much a lock for the 1/2 seeds.
Is it just me, or are we seeing a lot of this stuff pop up now? Melo was ineligible earlier in the year, Reggie Johnson was out for a game, Durand Scott...those are just the ones off of the top of my head.
Wonder why this is becoming a "trend"? Is the NCAA finally cracking down?
